Summer started out the way summers always started out...with students leaving school. This year was different because it was finally my turn to leave school. After 24+ years of education (Preschool + Kindergarden + Grades 1-12 + 5 years of undergrad + 7 years of graduate school). It was finally my turn to leave. My mom, sister, and dad all flew to Colorado for the event. Colorado provided some excellent weather. Here is a photo from the big day, me in a poofy hat with my mom and sister. As an added bonus it was mothers day that weekend so my sister and myself got to spend mother's day with mom (a rare thing).
